Paintings
To paint is to be able to express yourself your way, to feel a mood, create a form, enjoy a movement and make it yours.
I’ve always drawn and painted, I think it began when my mother taught me to draw match stick men; hers marched rigidly across folded paper while mine walked and ran wildly over just about every magazine going!
Commissions from customers are varied and come in different forms from Site Specific to Contemporary art-forms and I enjoy both.
My most recent and most difficult painting was “Karin’s Race” where I needed to focus on Cancer and an emotion involving movement; I spent many hours taking photographs of my friend Claire to reach what I was really looking for.
